Chloe Gentile-Montgomery

Educator and author-poet

Hi, my name is Chloe Gentile-Montgomery and I am a 24-year-old Black/biracial poet, educator, and community lover currently based in California's Bay Area (with home ties to Santa Cruz). I self-published my first poetry chapbook on May 28th, 2021 entitled Rustlings of the Spirit, shortly before receiving my B.S. in both Ethnic Studies and Environmental Science from Santa Clara University and (2021) and going on to get my teaching credential in social studies from Stanford's Teacher Ed Program (2022).

This website serves as a home for my poetry, including links to buy recent works and access to other writings such as essays and blog posts.

I dream of using my education and background in Ethnic Studies in order to collaborate with students in creating classrooms that are agents of change as a teacher of Ethnic Studies and US history.

Thank you so much for supporting my dreams, I look forward to sharing my thoughts with you!
